Through my extensive experience of working with young children, pre-adolescents, and their caregivers, I am able to provide a specialized approach that focuses on helping individuals who may be struggling in school, at home, or in their communities.
This unique group of clients may be navigating a divorce, adjusting to blended family issues, or adapting to school concerns. I provide a safe and supportive environment for clients who are struggling with feelings of anxiety, experiencing general trouble managing the growing years, and longing for a strongly connected, respectful, and fun child-parent relationship.
Give your child the tools and support they need to thrive and be healthy.
At Grow, our specialty is working with children ages 4-10 years through a child-centered play therapy model. We recognize that children's cognitive and emotional development occurs naturally through play. By allowing children to express themselves in a way that is natural and developmentally appropriate, children learn to communicate with others, express feelings, modify behavior, develop problem-solving skills, and learn a variety of ways of relating to others.
Child-Parent Relationship Therapy is a play-based treatment program for young children presenting with behavioral, emotional, social, and attachment concerns. Through weekly CPRT groups, parents learn skills to communicate more effectively with their child, help their child develop more self-control, and become more attuned to their child's emotional needs.
In lieu of groups, CPRT can be offered through one-on-one sessions.
We offer parenting support to help parents build effective communication, improve behavior management, and strengthen relationships with their children. We provide personalized support and guidance to help parents navigate the challenges of parenthood.
